I
n today’s energy-driven economy, pipeline operations are
critical to delivering petroleum products to both consumers
and industry. For oil and gas firms, pipeline meters are
situated at any point where there is a transfer of ownership
of a product. As such, they represent the ‘cash register’ of their
business. Rigorous standards are in place to ensure accuracy of the
meters used for custody transfer measurements of liquid and gas,
